The South Forest Flour Mill I have been scratchbuilding for a while is now 'finished' and in place on my layout. I decided to go for a 'rendered' look for the walls, and I got a hint from a friend to use Wet and Dry paper, so I used 280 grit Wet and Dry Paper for walls, and painted them white. I also added some weathering to the walls and rust color to the roof.

Enhanced C&SFT Track Plan and Locations pages
Recently I re-discovered the wonders of Flash animation and decided I would enhance some of the pages on the site by adding some Flash movies and animations into them. I worked out how to do some things in Flash that had evaded my comprehension in the past, and have incorporated the things I learned into the animations.

| Motive Power page, you might have seen some pictures of EMD FT-A units. Over the last few months or so I have been wondering how prototypical it might be to have FT units in the era I model. So I did a bit of research over the Internet.
