The C&SFT Railroad hosts a number of trains, including timetabled trains, extras, switch and yard jobs, and local trains. These are the trains currently shown on the Train Sheet over a cycle of 7 operating sessions.

An eastbound EJE train which runs from Joliet, through Blue Island, Dolton Junction, then over the C&SFT to the C&SFT Interchange yard at Calumet South. Mostly handles MWSL and CSFT cars, COFC / TOFC cars, as well as privately owned cars (ie, cars not owned by a railroad).

An eastbound IHB train which runs over the C&SFT railroad from Dolton Junction near Blue Island to the C&SFT Interchange Yard. The loco of this train returns light to the IHB's Blue Island yard upon delivery of cars to the Interchange Yard. This train handles cars owned by western railroads.

BI19

The westbound counterpart of IHB train 815, this train is a C&SFT operated train which transfers cars between the C&SFT Interchange Yard and IHB 's Blue Island yard. The motive power for this train returns light to the C&SFT Interchange Yard, via Dolton Junction.

Extra Trains

Extra 4137

A Chessie transfer train that runs between Barr Yard and the C&SFT Interchange via Dolton Junction in both directions. Normally made up of Eastern railroad cars

BOCT-E98 and BOCT-W98

Chessie / B&OCT Transfers which runs between Pine Junction and the C&SFT Interchange Yard, via Osborn Yard, and the East Branch. Handles any Canadian railroad cars, as well as GTW, IC, SOO Line cars.
