Track plan for the railroad.
The track plan might look quite complex, but in reality it is quite simple to operate. The Van Loon sections are operationally complete but still require scenery, and all the other areas are fully operational and the scenery almost finished - mainly scenic detailing needs to be done. The layout takes a minimum space of 17 x 9 1/2 feet for the FULL layout to be set up, allowing a 1 1/2 foot access aisle for the Van Loon Junction.
The Interchange is the hub of the whole railroad. Any cars to or from local industries go through the interchange. While a number of railroads have trackage rights to travel over the railroad, none have rights to shunt any industries on the railroad. All shunting is done by C&SFT
RR train crews.
